The GEOENVI and CROWDTHERMAL projects are co-organising a webinar entitled “Targeting acceptability and co-ownership for deep geothermal projects” on 16 March 2021, 10-12 am CET.

Establishing public participation, sharing information with the public and increasing local benefits are fields on which the GEOENVI project formulated several recommendations. During the virtual event, an expert panel will discuss those recommendations and analyse ways forward for public engagement for deep geothermal.

Project partners Jan Hildebrand (IZES) and Georgie Friederichs (CrowdfundingHub) will provide a talk about “Crowdfunding and public engagement” presenting best practices identified within the CROWDTHERMAL project.
